as I can remember.

My story started earlier than I realised. When I was about five years old in primary school, I remember making a Christmas card and becoming completely absorbed in how it looked — the spacing, the colours, the feeling of making something simple feel special. I didn't have the words for design back then, but I already understood the pull of creating something with care.

The second moment I remember clearly was a school trip to Canary Wharf. We visited a marketing department where someone sat at a desk with two screens, designing. I looked at that and thought: this is exactly what I want to do.

That path ran through photography and film — including wedding work — before it became web design and digital marketing. The turning point was realising creativity alone wasn't enough. Clients didn't just need something beautiful; they needed strategic systems that actually worked.

I started out freelancing on Upwork and Fiverr, learning what real businesses needed. That eventually became SQSP — and the mission has stayed the same ever since: clear, minimalist websites and marketing systems that help professionals attract and win clients with ease.
